Kevin's Story
Kevin pitched professionally with the Florence Y'alls, where he was named Organization Pitcher of the Year and Frontier League Pitcher of the Week. After transitioning to coaching, he served as Pitching Coach at Oakland University and has worked with athletes at the Division I, JUCO, summer collegiate, and youth levels. That experience on both sides of the game shaped a core belief: becoming a great pitcher is about more than throwing harder — it's about confidence, learning how your body moves, and building habits that last.
Here's exactly what you and your athlete can expect — from the first evaluation to measurable improvement.
01
We begin with a detailed assessment featuring 3 different camera angles to best identify your strengths, and areas for improvement.

03
Full lesson log via Google Sheets that includes film and notes from coach after each session.
04
Training doesn't just have to be with coach. At home activities given after each lesson to ensure development in between sessions.
05
High level arm care routines end each session to ensure proper cooldown of the shoulder, elbow, and surrounding muscles.

Most athletes notice improvements in mechanics and confidence within the first few sessions. Long-term gains in velocity and command typically build over 4–8 weeks of consistent training, though every athlete progresses differently.
Absolutely both. Every athlete starts with a full evaluation, so coaching is built around their current ability — not where they're expected to be. Beginners get fundamentals done right from day one. Advanced athletes get a deeper level of refinement.
9 years old is the youngest age that is eligible for a training session.
Each session is roughly 1 hour. Most sessions are conducted at local baseball fields in the area.
Yes. Your child will receive a personalized Google document with hand-written feedback from coach after each session. That document will also contain video from sessions and drills with instructions for at-home work.
Arm care is built into every session — not added as an afterthought. Each session ends with targeted cooldown routines for the shoulder, elbow, and surrounding muscles. Mechanics work also focuses on movement efficiency, which helps reduce unnecessary stress on the arm over time.
What makes me different is the combination of experience and the ability to teach it. There are plenty of coaches who can teach mechanics — but my experience as both a professional player and Division I pitching coach gives me an up-to-date understanding of the modern game, while my background in communications and emergency medicine allows me to connect with athletes, communicate effectively, and build training plans that maximize performance and long-term development.
